Students at the Summit Campus participate in programming for a variety of transition to college life skills. Supervised study bar time is critical to a student’s ability to develop an understanding of how much time needs to be allocated for homework, content review and comprehension per class. It’s especially important for those asynchronous classes where students can easily fall off track without scheduled check-ins. Of course, students study on campus and in their rooms, but the study bar is an opportunity to provide that extra layer of support for executive function skill development.
