We want to wish all our families a happy and healthy holiday season. I hope you’ll understand when once again I reflect on how fast the time goes by. The truth is, it is hard to believe that we are half way through our 4th year of programming and support for the growing number of promising young adults who call the Campus their home away from home. We must be having fun!
As some of you know, when we started this program back in 2020, our mission was to support college students on the autism spectrum. We have since expanded to include individuals not college-bound, who identify as neurodivergent. All of our residents benefit from the independent living skills, self-advocacy support and community engagement intrinsic to the Summit Campus experience.
My vision continues to focus on our core model. Still, I am looking ahead exploring next level independent living options nearby, as well as more targeted initiatives on soft skill development through expanded volunteering, internships and paid employment.
As always, thank you for the privilege of serving your young adults as they design their individual pathways to an independent future.
